We have owned and loved Bernese since 1991 and share our home with 9 of these gorgeous dogs. Every breeding is carefully planned to ensure a quality litter.

Breeding awards: We have breed 8 NZ Champions and won Best of Breed at the National Dog Show - CH Anahera Chanticleer - Summer winning in 2006 & 2007 and also winning Intermediate of Group in 2006 and her daughter CH Schallenberg Sweetest Thing - Dante won Best of Breed in 2008 at only 17 months of age. Dante has also won numerous group awards, and she is also the only Bernese in New Zealand to have obtained her Platinum Certificate of Merit (100 challenges at the young age of 4) she was also the Top Winning Bernese in 2008 & 2009. NZ CH Sennen Maden Heaven (Imp Aust) won the National Dog show in 2010 and 2011 both under 2 years of age and beating some tough competition.
Description of breeding bitches: CH Schallenberg Sweetest Thing - Dante is from our beautiful Summer and her sire is Multi BIS BISS Aust, AM, Can, SU CH Zanzebern Defender - she is exquisite - at only 19 months of age she is the Top Winning Bernese for 2008, she has won numerous group awards and we are excited about what the future holds. Numerous judges have commented on what an exceptional bitch she is. She is certainly following in her parents pawprints!
Description of breeding studs: CH Schallenberg Man of Mysturi - Denver is from Summer's first litter to AM, Can, Aust & NZ CH Turi V Bernetta (Imp Switz). He has exceptional bone, personality and temperament and he turns heads where ever he goes. He has 0:0 hips and elbows.
CH Schallenberg Blaze of Glory - Emmerson is Dante's litter brother and is similar in substance to Denver. He has been slower to mature then Dante but we are excited about what the future holds for him. His elbows scores are in at 0:0 and his hips are 4:5.
